Anies Promises To Build West Coast Area Of North Sumatra

The presidential candidate number 1 Anies Rasyid Baswedan promised to prioritize the construction of the west coast of North Sumatra (North Sumatra), if the Anies - Muhaimin (AMIN) pair was elected to lead Indonesia in the 2024 election, for the sake of equitable development.

"West Coast. The source, natural resources are extraordinary. The land is rich, so people need to feel it," said Anies during a grand campaign at Raja Najungal Square in Angkola Muaratais District, South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 1.

According to Anies, investment in this country is many and important to build. It's just that it's not a capital-intensive investment, but a labor-intensive investment, thus creating a lot of jobs.

"The natural resources of the west coast are extraordinary. Rich in gold, fertile in rubber and others. But people have not felt welfare," he said.

Therefore, said Anies, if the people mandate the AMIN pair to lead Indonesia in the future, the west coast of North Sumatra will be a priority, and do not be abandoned, let alone forgotten.

'That's why we came here. It needs change," said Anies.

In addition, in front of supporters and sympathizers who attended from various corners of the regency/city on the west coast of North Sumatra.

Anies said the AMIN pair would also prioritize building the food, education and health sectors.

"We are gathered here to want changes, including changes in food, employment, education, and better health for the Indonesian people," said Anies, who was greeted positively from thousands of people present.

"We want Indonesia not only to be enjoyed by a handful of people, but can be enjoyed by everyone. We want to raise a small one, not the other way around," he said.
