Mahfud Yakin Pemerintah Bisa Jaga Soliditas Kabinet

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md, who has submitted his resignation letter to President Joko Widodo, believes the government can maintain cabinet solidity in the midst of his resignation.

"Yes, of course, the government will definitely be able to handle it, the solidity of the cabinet," said Mahfud after submitting his resignation letter to President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, February 1.

This was conveyed by Mahfud when asked whether according to him the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet would remain solid after he resigned from his ministerial position.

Mahfud stated that his meeting with the President did not talk about cabinet meetings. The two of them only talked about the time when they first started working in the cabinet and joking.

"I was just joking, very fluid and full of brotherhood. There was no tension whatsoever. I talked about the cabinet meeting. Talking (about) me with Pak Jokowi," he said.
