The Suspect In The Murder Of Female Activist Michael Kurisi Was Handed Over To The Wamena Prosecutor's Office
Head of the Peaceful Public Relations Task Force Cartenz (DC) AKBP Bayu Suseno said two of the three perpetrators of the murder of female activist Michael Kurisi Doga were handed over to the Wamena District Attorney (Kejari).
The delegation of the two suspects was carried out after the files (BAP) were declared complete.
"The two suspects were handed over to the prosecutors, respectively Ditius Wenda alias Person Murib (26) and Rupinus Murib alias Rudi Komba (28)," said Head of the Cartenz Peace Public Relations Task Force AKBP Bayu Suseno as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 1.
The two suspects were previously detained at the Papua Police Headquarters in Jayapura and before being handed over to the prosecutor, they were first flown to Wamena.
With the submission of the two suspects, there is still one suspect who is currently still detained because the file (BAP) is incomplete, namely Aswen (AW).
"If it is declared complete, AW will also be handed over to the prosecutor for further legal proceedings," said AKBP Bayu Suseno.
Papuan female activist Michelle Kurisi was found dead in the Upper Koloak District, Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua Mountains, on August 28, 2023.

It is suspected that seven people were involved in the murder, and only three of them were arrested, namely AW alias Aswen, who was arrested in Jayapura, Papua, was a planner and perpetrator of the stabbing, Person Murib (PM) was arrested in Kurulu District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Mountains, playing a role in guarding the location of the murder, taking cellphones and throwing away the victim's bag.
Then Rupinus Murib alias Rudi Komba (RK alias RM) was arrested in Karubaga District, Tolikara Regency, Papua Mountains, acting as a driver who brought the victims and the perpetrators of the murder.
