"Until there is a Presidential Decree. Until there is a Presidential Decree, if there is no Presidential Decree, but I'm leaving, it's a colong playu," said Mahfud, Thursday, February 1.

Mahfud said that after submitting his resignation letter to President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday afternoon, he left a number of tasks that were still hanging at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

He mentioned that there were three tasks that became notes, especially during his tenure as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

The first task, he said, was about Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) which involved state losses of Rp. 111 trillion.

Second, regarding the settlement of gross human rights violations where according to Mahfud, the settlement from the point of view of the victim is still ongoing in accordance with the Presidential Instruction.

Third, related to the Revision of the Constitutional Court Law (MK).

During the meeting, Mahfud admitted that he had no tensions and was filled with more people, instead of discussing the substance of the resignation letter to President Jokowi.

The candidate for vice president number three revealed that the conversation was carried out with full kinship, and the two even spoke from heart to heart.

President Jokowi, said Mahfud, also expressed his gratitude for his 4 years of service as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs since his inauguration in October 2019.

"Pak Jokowi said thank you too, thank you for helping him for four years well, no problem. He mentioned earlier that I was his Coordinating Minister (Polhukam) the longest. During his two periods he led the longest, Mr. Mahfud," said Mahfud.
