Register Women To MiChat To Spread Nude Photos To WA Groups, Fugitives From DIY Police Arrested In Lampun
BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Police have arrested DA (41), a suspect in the ITE case, a fugitive from the Yogyakarta Regional Police. DA registered a woman with the MiChat application for sex services.
"This perpetrator, a resident of Tanjung Karang Pusat, Bandarlampung City, is a wanted list (DPO) of the Cyber Sub-Directorate of the Ditresrimsus Polda DIY," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Umi Fadillah, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, February 1.
The incident occurred on October 19, 2023, when the Suminah reporter was approached by a person who claimed to have ordered through the Michat application. Even though the person concerned does not feel or never enter photos and personal data in the application.
"Not only that, on October 23, 2023 Yuana (witnesses) was also included in the group former RT ready to be famous which was created by an unknown number and in it some people were known," he said.
Then, he said, after some time the victim's friend Yuana reported that the video and photo of the victim naked was distributed by an unknown WA number.
"Because of this incident, the reporter made a report to the Yogyakarta Police with Police Report Number: LP/B/860/X1/2023/SPKT/Polda Special Region of Yogyakarta," he said.
From the results of the investigation carried out by a joint team consisting of the Sub-Directorate of the Yogyakarta Police Ditreskrimsus which was backed up by Tekab 308 Sub-Directorate III Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Lampung, received information that the DA perpetrator was at his home.

"Furthermore, the team moved to the target and managed to secure one person suspected of being the DA perpetrator in Gg. The Palapa Village Mushola, District, Tanjungkarang, Central Bandarlampung City," he said.
For his actions, said Umi, the perpetrator was charged with violating Article 45 junto 27 paragraph (1) of Law (UU) Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning information and electronic transactions.
"Furthermore, the suspect and evidence were handed over to the personnel of the Cyber Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda DIY for further processing," he said.
