Panglima Komando Operasi Udara (Pangkoopsud) III Marsekal Muda TNI Benny Arfan mengatakan, semua jajaran Pangkalan Udara di Maluku dan Papua siap membantu Pemda dan KPU untuk menyekseskan agenda nasional Pemilu 2024.
"As long as there is a request for assistance from the KPU to the Indonesian Air Force for support for the need to transport election logistics, we have prepared the aircraft," said Pangkoopsud Marsda Benny in Biak, Papua, Thursday, February 1.
Marsda said that we have prepared all types of Indonesian Air Force transport aircraft and helicopters if the KPU asked for distribution to Papua.
Moreover, for some areas in Papua with a very limited and challenging level of transportation difficulties, according to Pangkoopsud III, it is very necessary to transport aircraft to answer the needs of the community and local government.
