Honda Offers This Sophisticated Feature To Old Accord Model, Here's The Cost
JAKARTA - Honda has launched the eleventh generation Accord globally at the end of 2022 by offering a variety of changes. However, this Japanese manufacturer still offers the latest for previous generation models.
For the tenth-generation Accord introduced in 2017, this time it is offered with an upgrade to the latest attractive features installed in the dealer network, namely Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless installed on 631,000 of this model produced 2018-2022 in the US
This new initiative is part of a wider company sustainability effort, seeking to maximize the lifetime value of Honda vehicles in the market by offering new digital upgrades and services.
"Improving the experience of ownership and market value of Honda vehicles that have been used is the main strategy in achieving our goal of achieving zero environmental impacts by 2050," Jay Joseph, Vice President of Sustainability & Business Development Division American Honda Motor Co, said on the company's website, Thursday, February 1.

The upgrades installed by dealers are available for the 2018-2022 trim Accord, originally equipped with a dedicated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto cable, enabling wireless integrated access to specific smartphone applications, music, navigation, and voice assistants.
The increase in the wireless system of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be installed on the Honda dealer network in Uncle Sam's country by spending 112 US dollars or around Rp. 1.7 million.
The feature can be installed free of charge on any Accord model that has been eligible and sold as a 'Honda Certified Pre-Owned' vehicle, thus providing additional value to this program.
Honda has set a global goal of realizing carbon neutrality for all company products and activities by 2050. To achieve this goal, the company is implementing various sustainability initiatives, including finding ways to add updates that will improve the vehicle ownership experience.
