Muhammadiyah Hands Over Heart Shock Aid To Palestinian Hospital

JAKARTA - Muhammadiyah Central Leaders handed over medical equipment assistance to Palestinian Hospitals in Egypt in the form of heart shocks and winter heaters in collaboration with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

Medical equipment assistance in the form of two External Automatic Defibrillators and one Diathermy was symbolically handed over by the Secretary of the LazisMu and received by the Director of the Palestinian Hospital, Dr. Mohammad Ramadhan.

"It is hoped that Muhammadiyah will find it easier to distribute medical equipment assistance that is urgently needed to treat patients who are affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza," said EMT Muhammadiyah Advisory Team Coordinator Naibul Umam in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 31.

Naibul Umam said Muhammadiyah would continue to establish intensive communication with Palestinian Hospitals and PCRS.

One of the important things that will continue to be discussed, he said, is the possibility of other types of assistance that can be given to patients and families of victims of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

"We certainly run according to the corridors set by the local government and of course according to the direction of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive," said Naibul Umam.

Secretary General of PRCS Tarek Arafat expressed his gratitude and gratitude for Muhammadiyah always being present at a time when the Palestinian people needed it.

"As fellow Muslims, the arrival of Muhammadiyah representatives directly to the Palestinian Hospital shows Muhammadiyah's seriousness and strong commitment in supporting the Palestinian struggle," said Tarek Arafat.
