Vice President Receives Army Chief Of Staff Visit, Asks TNI AD To Actively Help The Community

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin received a visit from the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Maruli Simanjuntak at the Vice President's official residence in Jakarta.

The Vice President gave directions for the TNI AD to actively help people in need.

"I was given more active directions from the Indonesian Army in helping people in need of assistance," said General Maruli after a meeting with the Vice President in Jakarta, as quoted by ANTARA via video information, Wednesday, January 31.

Maruli said the Vice President also gave directions so that the TNI would participate in maintaining the safety and smooth running of the 2024 presidential election.

"Hopefully we can implement his directives and coordinate with his staff, so that we can continue to work together to improve the welfare of the community," he explained.
