Gogoro Launches New Superior Smartscooter Named Pulse, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - Gogoro Inc, a global technology leader in a battery exchange ecosystem that allows sustainable mobility solutions for urban areas, officially launched its new flagship Smartscooter, Pulse.

This motorbike is claimed to be proof of Gogoro's ongoing commitment to performance, innovation, and design as well as setting new standards regarding what customers from advanced high-performance Smarts expect.

"Gogoro has been widely known for its contribution to the transformation of the urban two-wheeled industry with the integration of innovation, performance, and cutting-edge design that creates an intelligent new electric user experience," said AJ Luke, founder and CEO of Gogoro, in his official statement, Wednesday, January 31.

He further said, Pulse introduces a new Gogoro driving experience, and exciting which takes advantage of the company's latest innovations, as well as aerodynamic efficiency with advanced lighting and an in-depth interactive user experience.

In addition, this one motor is also equipped with technology from Qualcomm, to provide smart solutions for two-wheeled vehicles and encourage urban transportation.

"We are excited to see that our Snapdragon Digital Chassis QWM2290 function is used in Gogoro's latest flagship Smartscooter," said Laxmi Rayapudi, Vice President, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.

Laxmi hopes Qualcomm can continue to work closely with Gogoro, to explore further embedded applications, as SoC Snapdragon Digital Chassis QWM2290 comes for secure and wealthy digital services, as well as building additional innovation pillars for the micro mobility industry.

Design

Inspired by the vision of the future, Gogoro is starting to redesign a high-performance and sophisticated Smartscooter that produces Pulse. Pulse comes with a state-of-the-art aerodynamic design, a new 9kw powerfultrain designed by Gogoro.

Powertrain

Speaking of powertrain, Pulse is powered by a new Hyper Drive from Gogoro which is designed to improve performance while reducing energy consumption. The core of Hyper Drive is the new high-performance H1 motorbike from Gogoro, a fully redesigned power plant, and Hypercore, a powerful smart system that presents advanced traction control along with 378 nm torque on the rear wheels.

In addition, Gogoro Hyper Drive also integrates a new water and hybrid air double cooling system. Hyper Drive allows Pulse to reach new performance levels. Powertrain hyperdrive, Pulse reaches 0-50 km/hour in 3.05 seconds.

Features

Pulse uses a new state-of-the-art active matrix lighting system from Gogoro with 13 independent LED units to create new safety, awareness, and comfort levels. The parallel LED unit structure forms the front light with the first series of matrices in the urban two-wheel industry. Each of the 13 individual LED units is turned on to adapt to the speed of motorists, turns, and even weather conditions. As the Pulse speed increases, the active matrix lights dynamically broaden the light to provide more visibility and time for motorists to react appropriately. In addition, with the active angular illumination, Pulse provides a wider light band directed at each turn.

Smart Cockpit

Pulse is equipped with a new Gogoro Smart Cockpit dashboard that includes a 10.25-inch panorama HD touch screen, which is amazingly integrated with the iQ Touch HD Gogoro user interface, which provides an immersive and easy-to-use interactive experience that makes motorists in control. iQ Touch HD offers a variety of new features and services including different driving modes, turn-by-turn navigation with real-time traffic information, and Gogoro GoStation location. With iQ Touch HD, motorists can choose one of the six driving modes that provide optimal driving for Range, Dirt, City, Touring, Track or Custom.

Availability

There is no detailed information regarding the price yet, but Pulse is expected to begin shipping in Taiwan by the end of Q2 2024.
