Demonstrations In Front Of The DPR Today, People Are Asked To Avoid Jalan Gatot Subroto And Around GBK

JAKARTA - Mass groups from the Association of Indonesian Village Governments (Apdesi) will hold a demonstration in front of the DPR RI Building, today.

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya appealed to motorists to avoid the Gatot Subroto Road section, Central Jakarta.

The appeal was conveyed by the police through the @tmcpoldametro Instagram account. Drivers were asked to avoid the road from 08.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB.

"The driver is advised to avoid the Gatot Subroto Road in front of the DPR/MPR," wrote @tmcpoldametro quoted Wednesday, January 31.

In addition, motorists were also asked to avoid the Gelora Bung Karno or GBK areas. Possibly, the protesters will park their vehicles at that location.

With this appeal, it is hoped that the community will not be trapped in traffic jams that have the potential to occur.

"(Avoiding) Seputaran GBK karena ada giat penyampaikan pendapat oleh kelompok masyarakat," katanya.
