Franki Indrasmoro Starts Solo Project By Launching A New Single

JAKARTA - Franki Indrasmoro projects his solo career with an extended play (EP) or a mini album containing seven songs which is planned to be released at the end of 2024 or early 2025.

To reach that stage, the former Naif drummer will release about three singles freely. His first single dedicated to his wife is planned for release on February 23.

The first angle was originally about to be released on February 14, because the song tells the story of the beauty of falling in love. But unfortunately there will be an election, maybe it will be on February 23. Incidentally, February 23 was my wedding celebration," said Franki Indrasmoro when contacted by VOI, Monday, January 29.

The first single to be released is not a really new song. The song was released by Naif, but it is believed that not many people know about it.

For Franki Indrasmoro's solo project, of the seven songs, it tells about personal things, whether it's relationships, whether it's family, whether it's love interest. And in terms of relationships, it's also related to Naif, "said Franki.

So, of the seven songs, there are two songs that he wrote when he was still with Naif. One has never been released, and the other has been released but is very indie, surely there are a lot of people who haven't heard of it," he continued.

Meanwhile, the first single to be released was produced by Scaller's duo, Reney Karamoy and Stella Gareth.

Talking about his solo project with several other music projects he has undertaken, Franki calls himself this time to be freer, both as a singer, drummer, songwriter, and producer.

"If it's Naif, of course I won't sing, it's very unlikely to sing, and it's certain that Franki is playing the drums. In the Frank N Friends project, I have very little contribution to the performance. Of the five songs that have been released, there are at least two songs that I play in the drums. The rest are just people behind me, become producers and songwriters," said Franki Indrasmoro.

"If Franki Indrasmoro can be all of them, he can be a songwriter and producer, he will definitely be a singer and play drums too. So, if it's at Franki Indrasmoro, everything will actually appear," he concluded.
