NTB BNNP Seizes 3.4 Kilograms Of Cannabis From 2 Youths From East Lombok
The Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) of West Nusa Tenggara confiscated 3.4 kilograms of marijuana from two youths from East Lombok Regency with the initials MTH (18) and RA (27).
"The evidence of marijuana that we confiscated from these two youths is different from the network, so the cases are different. They were arrested at different locations," said Head of the NTB BNNP Intelligence Division Sisman Adi Pranoto in Mataram, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 30.
MTH was arrested while picking up a package containing marijuana at an expedition office in the Aikmel area, East Lombok Regency.
"We arrested MTH on Friday (26/1) afternoon. He was arrested when he took a package containing marijuana. He weighed 1.7 kilograms," he said.
From the MTH case, he continued, it was revealed the origin of the goods being sent from Medan, North Sumatra. Likewise with the origin of the goods confiscated from RA.
The NTB BNNP arrested RA on Sunday (28/1) afternoon at the expedition office in the Pancor area, East Lombok Regency. The cannabis package, which is also from Medan, weighs 1.7 kilograms.
"So, indeed these two shipments weigh the same and come from Medan, only different networks," he said.
The two perpetrators are now suspects and are undergoing detention at the NTB BNNP Detention Center.
