Dandim Ensures 17 Koramils In Jayapura Succeed In The Conduciveness Of Voting For The 2024 Election

PAPUA - Military District Command Commander (Dandim) 1701 Jayapura Lt. Col. Inf. Hendry Widodo ensured that 17 Koramils to the success of voting for the 2024 General Election on February 14 were peaceful and conducive.

"So far, Koramil friends have continued to urge people in Jayapura, Keerom and Jayapura Regencies to make the election a success by coming to give their voting rights on February 14, 2024," said Dandim Hendry in Jayapura, Tuesday, January 30, which was confiscated by Antara.

The Military District Command (Kodim) 1701 Jayapura oversees three areas in Papua, namely Jayapura Regency, Keerom and Jayapura City and is strengthened by 17 Koramil.

According to Hendry, apart from Koramil, there is also Pos Ramil who supports strengthening territorial law in the Koramil area.

"In addition to informing the public that they are involved in the election, it also ensures that the implementation of voting can run according to schedule and Kamtibmas can be maintained," he said.

He explained, with such a system, the number of members in each Koramil is different depending on the number of villages and the number of people.

"We do not use organizational tables but use the Personnel and Equipment Composition List (DSPP) according to regional conditions," he said.

He added, in one district there are how many villages, how many people per village, it will determine the number of Koramil members.

"There is one Koramil that oversees one district, there are three districts, so the number varies according to the number of people and the number of villages," he said.
