Rumored To Attend Ganjar Campaign In Ambon, Ahok: Not Present, I Leads Pertamina AGMS

JAKARTA - President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok denied that he was present at the grand presidential candidate (candidate) campaign event number 03 Ganjar Pranowo which was held in Ambon, Maluku.

The campaign was held on Monday, January 29. PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri is also scheduled to attend the political celebration.

Furthermore, Ahok emphasized that when the campaign was held, he was chairing the PT Pertamina Farmers General Meeting (AGMS) at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

"No (present). I dream of the AGMS of PT Pertamina (Persero) at the BUMN Ministry office," he said confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, January 30.

Previously, the Chairman of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Maluku, Benhur Watubun revealed that PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri was scheduled to attend Ganjar's grand campaign in Ambon, Maluku. Ahok is also scheduled to be present to accompany Megawati at the event.

The prohibition is stated through Circular (SE) Number S-560/S.MBU/10/2023. The Ministry of SOEs as the holder of the law emphasizes BUMN as a free business entity and practical political interests.

Therefore, commissioners, directors and employees of SOEs need to maintain neutrality both in the parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies in the company.
