Campaign In Tegal, Cak Imin: 10 Years Of Farmers We Ignored

Presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) started campaign activities today at the same location, namely Tegal Regency, Central Java.

"For 10 years our farmers are ignored, this should not be continued, we need changes," said Cak Imin in an oration at the Saimbang Pendawa Field, Tegal Tuesday, January 30.

Cak Imin emphasized that the difficulty of farmers getting welfare from their livelihoods was due to the food mafia. The mafia, according to him, is not only in the trading system of agricultural products, but also in the distribution of fertilizers that make fertilizers rare and difficult for farmers to access.

"This difficult fertilizer is the cause of the fertilizer mafia, in the future this is what we need to eradicate, we eradicate the fertilizer mafia to the roots," he said.

Continuing the oration, Anies admitted that he was concerned about the cheap price of unhulled rice while the price of rice was expensive but was not accepted by the farmers.

"Then where do you go? The rice is cheap but the rice is expensive, yes there is a mafia, there are tengkulak-tengkulak hoarding, can they be left alone? Can it be continued?" Anies asked the residents present.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta is also committed to improving food trading so that he will be able to prosper farmers and maintain food price stability.

"We are jointly committed to improving food trading so that farmers are prosperous as well as cheap food prices so that they can both," Anies added.

After campaigning at the Saimbang Investigating Field, Anies will also attend a grand campaign at the Kalisoga Brebes Padepokan, Central Java.

Then, Anies will attend the Commemoration of the People of Environmental Fighters and Changes in the Padarincang District Field, Serang, Banten. Anies will also visit the Araudhotul Baqiyat Islamic Boarding School, and there will be a procession for welcoming the Banten Traditional.

Meanwhile, Cak Imin continued his campaign activities separately with the agenda of consolidating the TPES-50 Pekalongan Raya at the Amanjiba Meeting Building, Krapyak Village, Pekalongan City, Central Java.
