Indonesia Masters 2024 is the third tournament that Thet will participate in this year. Previously, he also appeared at Malaysia and the 2024 India Open, but immediately died in the first round.

Thet was born in Yangon on March 15, 1999 and has known the badminton world since the age of seven. His father, Tun Tun Zaw, introduced badminton for the first time.

Another achievement, Thet is listed as the first badminton player to ever represent Myanmar at the Olympics. He first experienced the world's largest multi-event when it took place in Tokyo in 2020.
