Primadona Indonesia Masters 2024: Thet Htar Thuzar Is No Longer Foreign From Indonesia

JAKARTA Thet Htar Thuzar is one of the prima donnas in the 2024 Indonesia Masters which has just been completed at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, January 23-28, 2024.

The beautiful face of the badminton player from Myanmar has attracted attention at Istora. Moreover, Indonesia is familiar to him.

Unfortunately, Thet's steps are not long at the Indonesia Masters 2024. Starting the tournament from the qualifying round, the 24-year-old badminton player was immediately eliminated.

He lost against representatives of Chinea Taipei, Huang Yu-Hsun, in a tight three-set battle with a score of 21-17, 13-21, and 17-21.

Indonesia Masters 2024 is the third tournament that Thet will participate in this year. Previously, he also appeared at Malaysia and the 2024 India Open, but immediately died in the first round.

Apart from that, Thet has become a idol for Indonesian badminton lovers. In addition to the issue of looks, his talent also stole the show.

Thet was born in Yangon on March 15, 1999 and has known the badminton world since the age of seven. His father, Tun Tun Zaw, introduced badminton for the first time.

He has participated in the 2013 SEA Games. At that time, Myanmar hosted the ASEAN largest multi-event.

Another achievement, Thet is listed as the first badminton player to ever represent Myanmar at the Olympics. He first experienced the world's largest multi-event when it took place in Tokyo in 2020.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is the first time Myanmar has decided to participate in badminton.
