Anies Visits The Kedaton Of The Sultanate Of Ternate
JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan took the time to visit the Kedaton Sultanate of Ternate before finally attending the grand campaign in Taman Nukila, Ternate.
Anies said the Kedaton of the Sultanate of Ternate is a legacy of the history of the sultan whose role is very long, because the Maluku area is attracting world trade interest.
"The Sultanate in Maluku has a very long history and has a very big impact. So we feel the need to respect, need to appreciate, especially since they all have a very strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia," Anies said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 26.
In addition, the former governor of DKI Jakarta said the people of Ternate, North Maluku, were enthusiastic about the spirit of change he brought in this campaign.
