Police Arrest Wibowo's Son, Founder Of Viral Blast Trading Robot, Who Has Been A Fugitive For A Year
JAKARTA - The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at Bareskrim Polri arrested Putra Wibowo, a fugitive in the fraudulent investment case of the Viral Blast trading robot. He is the founder of the trading robot.
Kanit 1 Sub-Directorate 3 of the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, AKBP Sentot Kunto Wibowo confirmed the arrest.
Police picked up Putra Wibowo at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Cengkareng, today.
"I am AKBP Sentot Kunto Wibowo Kanit 1 Sub-Directorate 3 Dittipideksus Bareskrim Polri who picked up the Men's Wibowo DPO with the Police Hubinter has arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport," said Sentot in his statement, Friday, January 26.
However, the location of Putra Wibowo's arrest was not explained. It is suspected that the founder of the Viral Blast trading robot was arrested abroad.
So far, Sentot only said that the suspect who was on the wanted list was immediately taken to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. A series of investigations will be carried out by the investigative team.
"The suspect Putra Wibowo, who was convicted of committing a crime of money laundering with a crime of origin of a criminal act of trade and fraud, will be brought to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police for further investigation," said Sentot.

In this case, investigators have named four suspects, namely RPW, MU, ZHP, and Putra Wibowo who have been fugitives since 2022.
The three suspects have been handed over to the Attorney General's Office on June 17, 2022. This is because the case file has been declared complete.
In addition, investigators also confiscated a number of assets belonging to the suspects. The value reaches IDR 23 billion.
In fact, assets of Rp. 1.5 billion were confiscated from three football clubs, including Persija Jakarta, Madura United, and Bhayangkara FC.
