TKN Denies The Assumption That SBY Is More Ethical Than Jokowi
JAKARTA - The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) dismissed the issue of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) being more ethical following Jokowi's statement that the President could campaign as long as he did not use state facilities.
Deputy Chairman of the TKN Expert Council, Budiman Sudjatmiko, emphasized that Jokowi's statement regarding the President that the campaign may be as a Jokowi individual for politics, not as President.
"Joko Widodo is a political man, of course Pak Jokowi speaks as a political individual, not as a head of state (president)," Budiman said, Friday, January 26.
Budiman explained that Jokowi's statement was purely from the heart and mind as a human being who had the right to be polaristic.
"As an individual and as a citizen in general, it does not revoke its rights as an individual, I think so," explained Budiman.

Previously, Researcher of the Association for Elections and Democracy (Perludem) Usep Hasan Sadikin alluded to SBY being more ethical than Jokowi.
"Instead of 2014, the context is the same as now where there is no incumbent. In 2014, President SBY actually guaranteed the end of his term of office with the successes of democracy," said Usep, Thursday, January 25.
He said that when SBY campaigned, he applied for leave first and during the presidential election, SBY did not mention him as president.
