The Bogor KPU Uses Expeditionary Service Companies To Distribute Voice Letters For The 2024 Presidential Election
The Bogor Regency General Election Commission (KPU) cooperates with private companies for expedition services in distributing logistics for the 2024 General Election.
"For the distribution of this ballot box by [the expedition service company] JNE," said Head of the Bogor Regency KPU Muhammad Adi Kurnia in Cibinong, Bogor, Friday, January 26, as reported by Antara.
He explained that since Thursday, January 25, the KPU has started distributing election logistics from the KPU warehouse in Klapanunggal, Bogor, to each warehouse of the District Election Committee (PPK).
According to Adi, the electoral logistics currently distributed by expedition service companies are ballot boxes and ballot letters for the types of presidential and vice presidential elections, DPD RI, and DPR. Meanwhile, the votes types of the West Java Provincial DPRD and the Bogor Regency DPRD are still in the packaging stage.
"The scheme made by the secretariat is 15 days (delivery), so one sub-district is three days for five boxes of sound," he said.
Adi said that of the 3,973,004 ballots provided, two percent of them were reserve ballot paper.

He said the Bogor Regency KPU minimized election logistics damage by coating the plastic ballot boxes containing ballot letters.
"We have carried out SOPs (standard operating procedures), from ballot boxes we cover plastic, in ballot boxes to protect ballot letters covered with plastic apart from being wrapped in envelopes to protect against wet, indeed the SOP has been from the Indonesian KPU," said Adi.
The Bogor Regency KPU has set a permanent voter list (DPT) for the 2024 election as many as 3,889,441 people consisting of 1,982,664 men and 1,906,777 women.
This number increased when compared to the Bogor Regency DPT in the 2019 election as many as 3,494,743 people.
