Ganjar Promises To Give Subsidies To Reduce Expensive Ticket Prices From And To Eastern Indonesia

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo promised to provide subsidies to reduce the high price of aircraft tickets, especially from and to the eastern part of Indonesia.

"In remote (disbursed) areas, there must be special treatment. So, special treatment can vary, yes, including providing transportation subsidies," said Ganjar at the Golo Dukal Stadium, Langke Rembong, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Friday, January 26, confiscated by Antara.

Ganjar admitted that he had discussed a lot with many parties regarding the expensive price of airplane tickets. Therefore, he is ready to accommodate aspirations if there is input from the wider community.

"So, this is the important thing today that we think about," he said.

Previously, on Monday, January 8, Ganjar said that local governments could also provide incentives. This is so that airplane tickets are cheap so that many tourists go to tourism destinations in eastern Indonesia

"So, some areas that today want to get a place or destination are visited by people, they make events (events). Some areas because there are no regular flights, not healthy again, must be given incentives. What? The area provides subsidies," said Ganjar.

He gave an example that incentives for cheap flights were carried out when he served as Governor of Central Java.
