Many Factors, Mazda Indonesia Recorded Good Sales Of 5,320 Vehicle Units In 2023

JAKARTA - PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, which is the sole agent of the Merk Holder (ATPM) of the automotive brand Mazda in Indonesia, sees 2023 as an important year. At the end of last year (2023), Mazda recorded sales of 5,320 units, reaching the highest sales figure in the last three years since 2020, with growth of up to 100 percent.

The trend of increasing sales by PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia has continued to increase since the global pandemic in 2020.

According to the Managing Director of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (Mazda Indonesia), Ricky Thio, many factors have encouraged sales success.

"The success of PT EMI in 2023 is supported by various factors, especially the enthusiasm and support of Mazda fans and customers, as well as the optimal performance of our principal dealer," he said in a statement received on Thursday, January 25.

Furthermore, he mentioned that Mazda's full-sale service, which continues to improve performance, is supported by the MYMAZDA SERVICE program, which provides free-cost facilities for services and spare parts for 3 years or 60,000 km, also contributed to this success.

"Throughout 2023, Mazda has also actively participated in prestigious automotive exhibitions such as the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) and Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (JAW) 2023. Not to forget, Mazda's great mission to enter the premium vehicle market segment was also realized last year (2023), with the launch of The All-New Mazda CX-60," he added.

The launch of The All-New Mazda CX-60 by PT EMI marks Mazda's commitment to producing premium 7G products in the Large Premium SUV category. This car uses a 3.3L Inline 6-cylinder engine, e-Skyactiv-G, Turbocharged equipped with M-Hybrid Boost (Mild Hybrid System) technology, capable of generating 280 hp and 450 Nm torque power, providing maximum performance with good fuel efficiency.

Pramita Sari, Marketing & Communications General Manager of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (Mazda Indonesia), explained the models and colors that customers are most interested in in in 2023. CX-5 and CX-3 remain the favorite models, with Soul Red Crystal Metallic and Machine Gray Metallic as the most popular color of choice.
