Neta Adds Its Electric Car Line, Neta EP41 EV Station Wagon Launches April 2024

JAKARTA - Horon Auto has released an official image of the EP41 station wagon built on the Neta S. architecture of this car will be officially disclosed at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Thursday, January 25, previously this car had been caught on camera undergoing road tests, revealing some interesting details. Among them are a sleek body design, a hidden door handle, and a black B pillar.

Not only that, the back of the car is equipped with a roof spoiler and rear glass wiper. Other flagship features include a red Kaliper brake and a five-stop rim.

Zhang Yong, CEO of Neta Auto, shared an image of Neta EP41 still wrapped in camouflage. He explained that this station wagon uses the new Shanhai 2.0 architecture. EP41 is scheduled to be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.

Yong also mentioned that this car will be equipped with an AT128 LiDAR sensor from Hesai which is placed on the roof. This sensor, according to Yong, will play an important role in the perception module of the ADAS Neta Pilot system.

In addition, Yong revealed that EP41 is expected to start shipping in mid-2024. Although not much information has been revealed regarding the size and powertrain of EP41, it is reported that the price will be below 300,000 yuan or around Rp668 million.

For additional information, Neta is a leading electric vehicle (NEV) brand in China which was introduced in 2018. This automaker is slowly entering the high-end market with a focus on the manufacturing of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Extended Range Electric Vehicles (EREV). Its model lines in the domestic market include Neta Aya, Neta X, Neta GT, and Neta S. Soon, the Neta L crossover will go on sale in China.

By 2024, Neta plans to explore 50 global markets and targets the sale of more than 100,000 cars overseas, with its main focus in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Indonesia is also included in this expansion plan, where the Model V has been launched.
