JAKARTA TikTok shows its commitment to supporting the digitization of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. They launched the TikTok Jalin Nusantara program on Tuesday, January 23.

Ratified in Labuan Bajo, TikTok collaborates with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Women's Resources Development Center Association (PPSW), the Social Business Platform (PLUS), and Telkom in launching this program.

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, directly supports the TikTok Jalin Nusantara program. According to Sandi, this program can help business actors in utilizing online platforms as well as encourage the 2045 demographic bonus.

After being launched, the company under the auspices of ByteDance will hold digital skills training at 19 different points. The first ten points will focus on the creative economy in the Samosir, Pekanbaru, Tangerang, and many more areas.

Meanwhile, the remaining 9 points will focus on digital-based tourism destination training. This training will be held in Wisata Village, Lumban Suhi-Suhi Toruan, Jangga Dolok Tourism Village, Seribu Bunga Tourism Village, Sait Buttu Asri Tourism Village, and others.

In addition to improving participants' digital skills, TikTok will provide free internet networks in these 9 tourism destinations. They want to equalize digital access and increase community empowerment in the region.

Firry added that his party will ensure this program is right on target. They will cooperate with a number of local communities, visit locations actively, hold focused discussions, conduct surveys, and interview local interest actors.
