Eight Allied Forces Attacks On Yemen's Houthis

Allied forces launched eight attacks on Ansarullah (Houthi) targets in Yemen, including underground warehouses, missile firing sites, and air observation posts, according to an official statement from Australia, Bahrain, Britain, Canada, the Netherlands, and the United States.

"Today's attack targets Houthi underground warehouses and places related to Houthi's missile power and air observations", said a statement posted on the UK government website reported by ANTARA from TASS, Tuesday, January 23.

The attacks launched by Britain and the US and supported by the countries mentioned were aimed at disrupting and reducing the Houthis used to threaten world trade and the lives of sailors.

The attack was also in response to the illegal, dangerous, and destabilizing Houthi actions that have been carried out since (Allied Forces) attacked (Houthi) on January 11, 2024, including anti-ship ballistic missile attacks and drone attacks that hit two US merchant ships.

"We will repeat our warning to the Houthi leader: We have no doubts about defending the lives (of the sea) and the flow of free trade in one of the world's most important waters amid threats," the written statement said.

The statement stated that since mid-November 2023, Houthi forces have launched more than 30 attacks on ships passing through the Red Sea, and responded to the attack in accordance with principles, "enforce rule-based order."

These eight attacks are the first US-UK joint action since January 11, 2024. For ten days after January 11, the US has bombarded Houthi posts several times.
