Gibran Is Considered To Be Shown 'Wow Effect' Which Is A Niretic Umbar Problem In Debates

Jember University political observer Muhammad Iqbal assessed that vice president number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka made the vice presidential debate a place to promote niretica.

"Cawapres number 2 is just a woweffect that is problematic and niretical in the debate," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

Gibran several times poked at the vice presidential candidate number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar, such as reading records to demonstrating the pantomime movement which considered that they did not find answers from the vice presidential candidate number 3 Mahfud MD.

"Unfortunately Gibran should regret that it still makes the debate arena a campaign stage as a means to display his centrist ego as if he felt as a young person was able to 'beaten up' in the debate," he said.

The political communication expert assessed that the fourth debate increasingly provided strong political education for prospective voters to elect pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the February 14, 2024 vote.

"Prospective voters are given space to assess how environmental ethics, leadership ethics are to regulate, manage and make the most of it for the future of the nation and the environment," he said.

Iqbal said that the vice presidential candidates Muhaimin and Mahfud seemed very strong in their commitment and consistency throughout the debate process to maintain the quality of the debate as campaign media, media to channel ideas, and collaborate to ground potential voters.

"Cawapres Gibran is actually a gimmick attraction that is not ethically appropriate because there is a kind of arrogance, feels he can master the debate and master the debate stage," he said.

He said Mahfud MD and Muhaimin seemed to have a commitment and consistently maintain the nuances of debate as a battle for the idea of a class of polycy makers, not just a wow effect stage that is problematic and niretic.
