5 Perpetrators Of Beatings In Sempidi Badung Arrested By Police

Badung Police, Bali arrested five suspected perpetrators of the beating on Jalan Raya Sempidi, Badung which resulted in the death of one person.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that five suspected perpetrators had been arrested from the alleged 12 perpetrators.

The alleged perpetrators were revealed thanks to the collaboration between the Bali Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate and the Badung Police Satreskrim by conducting an in-depth examination of CCTV around the location of the incident on Jalan Raya Sempidi, Mengwi, Badung Regency.

"Until now, five people have been arrested," Jansen said without explaining the timing and place and motive of the beating was quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

He confirmed that the investigation into the case was still ongoing at the Badung Police.

The arrest was also confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Badung Police, AKP I Gusti Nyoman Jaya Widura.

Nyoman Jaya said several other perpetrators were still being chased by the Badung Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"It is true that we have arrested several perpetrators and the rest are still being chased," said Nyoman Jaya.

Five suspected perpetrators are still undergoing in-depth examination by the Badung Police investigators.

The beating took place on Tuesday, January 16 on Jalan Raya Sempidi, Dalung, Mengwi District, Badung. In this incident, Adhi Putra Krismawan (23) was beaten to death by a group of youths.

According to police statement, in the beating that led to the death, a group of young people suspected of wearing all-black clothes and riding seven motorbikes at high speed.

At the scene of the incident, the gang stopped and ganged up on the victim. This was witnessed by a shop owner who was not far from the crime scene.

Moments later, the victim was lying on the side of the road in front of the Sedana Consumer Cooperative Giri Ayung, Jalan Raya Sempidi, Dalung, Badung. The victim suffered several injuries to his body until he died. The victim's body was then taken to Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar.
