Sele Raya Belida Sukses Add 1,600 BOEPD To SAS-1 Well Production
JAKARTA - The South Wine River 1 (SAS-1) well in the Belida Working Area, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province, with the Sele Raya Belida operator has succeeded in producing more than 2,800 BOEPD starting from January 18, 2024 or increasing by more than 1600 barrels of equivalent oil per day in early 2024.
General Manager of Sele Raya Belida, Juchiro Tampi revealed that oil production will be increased again in line with the planned monetization of gas associations of the South Wine River Well which is expected to start in 2024, approval of SKK Migas and dispensation of the Director General of Oil and Gas related to flare gas.
"This year, the development of the SAS-1 well project and production, if possible, we will continue to encourage it to increase the maximum production capacity, next month we will try to increase it to 3000 BOPD," said Juchiro in his statement to the media, Monday, January 22.
For field development, continued Juchiro, SKK Migas and Sele Raya Belida are currently carrying out 3D seismic acquisition activities to find out the potential development of the South Wine River's findings structure, and it is planned that an appraisal well will be drilled.
"The drilling of new wells will be prepared by coordinating with SKK Migas so that it can be realized immediately," said Doni Argiyanto, Exploration and Exploitation Manager of PT Cele Raya Belida.

Head of the SKK Migas Program and Communication Division, Hudi D. Suryo Dipuro, said that efforts to increase oil and gas production were an effort made by SKK Migas and KKKS to encourage and realize the 1 Million Barel Oil (BOPD) program and 12 Billion Foot Kubik Gas (BSCFD) in 2030.
"We continue to encourage this, not only Usanya Belida, but we also continue to encourage other KKKS to increase production and drilling because we have a concern exploration investment and production," said Hudi.
