Attending The 78th Harlah Of The NU Muslimat, The President Wears Sarongs And Kopiahs
JAKARTA - The celebration of the 78th Birthday (Harlah) of the Nahdlatul Ulama Muslimat was centered at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Saturday, January 20. President Joko Widodo attended at around 06.30 WIB, wearing a white shirt combined with a dark blue suit, skullcap and sarongs.
The President's arrival was welcomed by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas and the Chairman of the NU Muslimat Khofifah Indar Parawansa. Jokowi was seen greeting the 78th Harlah participants of the NU Muslimat and doing several selfies.
The commemoration of the 78th Harlah of Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) was held at the same time to welcome the 101st Harlah of NU. The event started early Saturday at 00.00 WIB to 02.30 WIB with the mandate of the Al-Quran 2024 times led by Hj Romlah Widayati.

Then, the Fajr prayer in congregation was held from 04.20 WIB to 04.45 WIB.
At 04.45 WIB to 05.30 WIB the event was filled with reading istighosah, tahlil, and prayers khatam Al-Qur'an led by Prof. Dr. KH Asep Syaifuddin Chalim.
