Dismissing Ministerial Issues Resigning, Moeldoko: President Jokowi's Cabinet Remains Solid To Pursue Development Targets
JAKARTA The Presidential Chief of Staff, (KSP) Moeldoko, said that the issue of the resignation of 15 Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) was only rumors and rumors. The issue, he said, was deliberately raised to shake up the government that was already running well.
"I am the former Commander in Chief directly, I understand that, there is that goal. The goal is to shake up this goal, shake up the government, which has been good, undermined and so on," said Moeldoko, at the Bina Graha building, Jakarta, Friday, January 19.
Moeldoko conveyed this in response to the statement by the Senior Economist of Indef, Faisal Basri, who said that 15 Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet were planning to leave President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Moeldoko ensured that President Jokowi's cabinet remained solid and continued to work on development targets. Moreover, the government has strategic programs that must be completed immediately.
"While we are working for a few months, we have that strategic program that must be focused, even the speed is increased. All ministers are working well, and we in the cabinet are still solidly pursuing development," he explained.
The 2013-2015 TNI Commander also dismissed the assumption that political contestation had made conditions in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet not conducive because several ministers had advanced in the Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections.

"In the cabinet meeting room, everything went happily, there was no communication problem, no strange emotions appeared. Everything came like there was no election, nothing changed the situation. If there is a term excited, who is excited, that's all people," said Moeldoko.
On that occasion, Moeldoko asked the public not to be influenced by the emergence of issues that were not clear about the truth. "The indications are easy, if there is a demotivation, a decrease in work, it should be suspected. These are all working activities," he concluded.
