PALANGKA RAYA - Acting (Pj) Mayor of Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan Hera Nugrahayu warned of sanctions against state civil servants (ASN) within the local municipal government involved in practical politics."I as the staffing officer within the city government, of course, often reminds ASN to be neutral in the 2024 election. Even the toughest sanctions for those who are proven to be involved in practical politics are dismissal," said Hera in Palangka Raya, Antara, Thursday, January 18.He said, regarding the indications of local government ASN who are not neutral in this year's election, the local Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) should conduct an examination.Even if the public sees that ASN is not neutral, please report it to the relevant agencies so that later when the investigation has been carried out regarding the alleged non-neutral and proven."So it will be reported to the local municipal government and later it will be followed up to process the sanctions according to the direction of the central government," he said.Hera added that until now there are no ASNs in the Palangka Raya City that are being investigated by the Palangka Raya City Bawaslu who are suspected of not being neutral ahead of the 2024 General Election.In fact, he always warned every ASN and head of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to take care of this matter together.
