Divorce From Wife, Scavengers In NTB Forced Their Biological Children To Give Birth
The scavenger with the initials EH (42), from West Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, was revealed to have abused his biological child until he became pregnant and gave birth to a baby who is now 3 months old."So, this perpetrator repeatedly carried out his actions against his biological child with the initials RN until he became pregnant and gave birth to a child who is now only 3 months old," said Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the NTB Police Kombes Syarif Hidayat in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, January 18.The perpetrator has been carrying out this action since he divorced his wife in 2019. Throughout his status as a widower, the perpetrator often launched his action when the victim was 16 years old."So, this victim lives with the perpetrator. The first action was carried out by the perpetrator when the victim was 16 years old. The last rape was when the victim was 17 years and 2 months old, and pregnant," said Syarif.Head of the Sub-Division of Youth, Children and Women (Renakta) of the NTB Police, AKBP Ni Made Pujawati, said that as long as the victim lived with the perpetrator, he had never had a relationship with another man."So, there is no indication of the victim having a girlfriend. He has lived with his father every day since West Sumbawa and Mataram," said Pujawati.Regarding the condition of the victim and her 3-month-old biological child, Pujawati said that she had now received treatment from social institutions."The victim and her child are healthy. They have now been entrusted to social institutions," he said.To confirm that the baby was the result of the victim's biological father, Pujawati said that her party would do a DNA test."However, it can't be now because he is still very young. At least we will check his DNA for 1 year old," he said.Meskipun demikian, Pujawati menegaskan bahwa penyidik telah mendapatkan setidaknya dua alat bukti yang menguatkan EH sebagai tersangka tindak pidana kekerasan seksual terhadap anak.
Investigators named EH as a suspect by applying the allegations Article 81 paragraph (1) and/or paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 16D of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulations in Lieu of Law no. 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection into Law or Article 6C of Law no. 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence jo. Article 64 of the Criminal Code."We have detained the suspect at the NTB Police Detention Center," said Pujawati.
