Tomorrow Friday, Polda Metro Examination Singles Firli Bahuri

Polda Metro Jaya said Firli Bahuri would not be confronted in the examination as a suspect in the alleged extortion case against former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, on Friday, January 19.

The examination will be additional to complete the case files returned by the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati).

"Friday is the single FB examination," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to VOI, Thursday, January 18.

Originally, the emergence of the possibility of Firli Bahuri being confronted because Ade had mentioned that in an effort to complete the case files, investigators would confront him.

However, it is said that confrontation of witness statements was carried out on January 11. The witnesses whose statements were pitted against each other to find out the facts of the investigation included Syahrul Yasin Limpo; Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta; and Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono.

"That's right (the name of the witness who was confronted)," said Ade.

The examination of Firli Bahuri will be carried out at the Directorate of Corruption Crimes at Bareskrim Polri at 09.00 WIB.

Firli Bahuri has been examined 5 times during the process of handling cases of alleged extortion or gratification against Syahrul Yasin Limpo. Two of them were when Firli Bahuri was still a witness, precisely on October 26 and November 16.

For the rest of the examination, when the former chairman of the KPK was a suspect. Firli Bahuri was asked for the exact information on December 1, December 6, and December 27.
