Sooner Or Later, Erling Haaland's Father Believes His Son Will Go To Real Madrid
JAKARTA - Striker Erling Haaland will not be in Manchester City forever. He, sooner or later, will still move to Real Madrid.
Haaland's father, Alfe-Inge Haaland, confirmed Haaland's future. According to him, as quoted by The Sun, Erling will one day move to Madrid.
Senior Haaland revealed the opportunity for his son to leave Man City while attending the FIFA's The Best award ceremony.
At the event he witnessed his son who brought Man City to trebles, but only being number two. Haalaand was defeated by Lionel Messi who only won the French Ligue 1 trophy for Paris Saint-Germain.
Plus the League Cup champion trophy with MLS Inter Miami club, Messi is enough to win the FIFA Player of the Year award or The Best FIFA Men's Player by beating Haaland.
Again, the award drew controversy because Messi's achievement was clearly far behind Haaland. Both of them did compete fiercely by getting 48 points from the voting results of coaches and captains of the national team, fans, and journalists.
Because the points are the same, the winner is determined by the vote of the national team captain around the world.
Messi is also clearly more popular in the eyes of the national team captain than this Norwegian national team striker. Evidently, there were 13 votes who chose Messi and Haaland to only 11. Still narrowly lost to this former Borussia Dortmund player.
Asked about the results, senior Haaland chose to congratulate Messi. However, when caught on camera, the face of the former Man City and Leeds United players looked disappointed with the selection of the Argentina national team captain.
"Congratulations to Messi," he said. Haaland seniors think it doesn't matter if Messi is the one who is elected even though the decision has received blasphemy that is milling about on social media. How can the winner of Ligue 1 beat the treble winner.
Haaland then mentioned the future of his son who is in the early hours of Madrid. According to him, any player will not refuse if he gets an offer from Los Merengues.
"Of course (she can move to Madrid). Every player has the opportunity to play in (Madrid)," he said.
However, senior Haaland, further said that currently Erling Haaland is only focused on Man City.

"He's happy at Man City. I think he's focused on the club," said senior Haaland.
Haaland also refused to respond to Madrid's chance of only spending 100 million euros to redeem his son. Man City has determined the release of Haaland's clause of 200 million euros.
That big value only applies to English Premier League clubs. Meanwhile, clubs from outside England only need to pay half if they want to redeem Haaland.
"It's better for now that we don't talk about his contract," he said with a laugh when he was asked about the possibility of Madrid redeeming his son.
