LMKN Collects Royalty Performing Rights IDR 55 Billion Throughout 2023
JAKARTA - The National Collective Management Institute (LMKN) held a National Working Meeting for two days, 16 and 17 January at the LMKN Office. They invite various parties, ranging from the Collective Management Institute (LMK), associations, and related communities.

On this occasion, LMKN also announced the results of the collection of royalties for the 2023 period amounting to Rp55,151,768,212, while royalty payments are currently in the payment process amounting to Rp20,765,952,588.
"The collected Royalti is distributed to rights owners through LMK-LMK who have obtained operational permits," said Dharma.
At the same time, Dharma also emphasized that any party that tries to collect royalties outside that have been stipulated by law is an act that is not justified.

"If there is no operational permit from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, it is forbidden to withdraw royalties to commercial users," said Dharma.
"There is a law, the attitude of LMKN is based on law. Therefore, those who do not have a permit and so on can be charged with criminal penalties and fines," he concluded.
