AMIN National Team Suspects Anies Campaign Intimidation In Bone, Many Billboards Are Missing

Spokesperson for the Winning National Team Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN), Ismail Bachtiar, said there were allegations of intimidation during the presidential candidate campaign number 1 Anies Baswedan at the Chinese Football Field, China District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi.

"Two days before the event, we had put up billboards, banners everywhere. The next day it was lost, many were revoked. We tried to find out, just didn't find it," said Ismail on the sidelines of Anies Baswedan's campaign reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 17.

In addition to the loss of campaign props, allegations of intimidation of attacks on social media also occurred by conveying hoaxes or misleading information to thwart Anies Baswedan's campaign in Bone.

"So, I said, never mind, maybe because of the contestation, the dynamics were like this. Last night I was worried, DM (direct message) my social media contained all the blasphemy. Second, I was surprised that someone spread hoaxes, he said Mr. Anies did not come and moved the event to 13.00 pm. However, this morning, thank God, until there was no room for movement to enter the event, "explained Ismail.

Regarding certain individuals wearing t-shirts from other candidate pairs in the campaign event of candidate pair number 1 Anies-Muhaimin, Ismail confirmed this. However, his party did not want to serve these people.

"That's what I mean. Last night, at around 01.00, I was still in the field, there were some people coming to ask questions about all kinds of things, admitting from here; and being asked what to do, they said it was not clear either," said the member of the South Sulawesi Provincial DPRD.

However, Ismail emphasized that his party did not want to accuse who was suspected of withdrawing the billboards of the AMINdi pair along the campaign location in Bone and replacing it with billboards for other candidate pairs.

Ismail considered this to be a form of alleged intimidation.

"I already know that this event is official, this event is legal, licensed; if you respect each other, understand each other, there should be no such efforts," he said.
