Dozens Of Elementary School Students In East Lombok Poisoned By Tongkol Fish
SELONG - Dozens of students from State Elementary School 3 Ketapang Raya, Keruak District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) experienced mass poisoning after eating Tongkol Fish abon.
Kapolsek Keruak Polres Lombok Timur Iptu Mastar confirmed the incident and his party has received reports of dozens of students at SDN 3 Ketapang Raya who experienced mass poisoning after eating fish abon purchased from their own student friends.
"It is true that there was mass poisoning of SDN 3 Ketapang Raya students after eating abon fish with the average experience of dizziness, nausea and vomiting," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 17.
The incident began when a student brought Tongkol abon fish to school, after that his friends tasted it, because it was good for the victims to order friends to bring the abon fish. So ordered the abon fish to his grandmother by selling the price of Rp. 1000 per pack.

"So today, friends are brought to order it, but after eating the abon fish, students experience dizziness nausea and vomiting," he said.
Then the victims were taken home, but arrived at the student's house with vomiting, so they were taken to the Puskesmas and hospital for medical treatment.
"They had to be rushed to the Puskesmas and some were referred to the Patuh Karya Hospital in East Lombok for intensive care," he said.
"A total of about 20 people are poisoned, of which good people are allowed to go home and some are still being treated," he said.
His party has also secured grandmothers who made fish abon and students who sold fish abon to their friends for questioning. This includes abon which caused the poisoning of students to be confiscated for later laboratory tests.
"We secure the grandmother who made the fish abon for further processing," he said.
