Unlaunched, Honda E:NP2 Document Leaks First In China
JAKARTA - Honda is seriously included in the realm of full electrification by preparing several models to enter the production phase, one of which is e:NP2.
The company has spread a teaser regarding the emergence of the model's production. The presence of this car seems closer to the leaking of documents from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
Reporting from Paultan, Tuesday, January 16, an X account namedUCHo de Feijter, known as China's automotive analyst, revealed the specifications of this vehicle which has a length of 4,787 mm, a width of 1,838, a height of 1,570 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.
It was also stated that e:NP2 is a product of a joint venture carried out between Honda and GAC, produced in Guangzhou, China.
Some of the details that were leaked in the model, such as the conventional door handle as a substitute for the pop-out unit from the concept version. The front is decorated with dark sets of lights with black window trims and aerodynamic rim designs.
Meanwhile, the back of e:NP2 gets a rear light design similar to the front. Then, the words 'Honda' are embedded in the middle of the back door.

Built on Honda's e:N Architecture F platform, the car is rumored to be using a single electric motor at the front, producing up to 150 kW of power and is claimed to be able to travel the highest speed of up to 160 km/hour.
The battery is made of lithium-ion material developed by CATL. It is likely that this power center will have a capacity of up to 68.8 kWh. This car will arrive at the Chinese market along with a production version of e:NS2 carrying a similar platform.
