BSI Projects Performance Growth In 2024 Not Far Different From Last Year

JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) or BSI is optimistic that the revenue of profit funds in 2024 will be the same as 2023.

President Director of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Hery Gunardi estimates that performance growth in 2024 will not be much different from the previous year.

"We are trying this year's revenue and profit, at least the same as in 2023, at least the same," he explained when met by media crews in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Hery also said that his party is optimistic that profit will grow by 31 percent in 2023.

"Laba 2023 is above 30 percent to 31 percent, so that's about it, maybe," he said

On the other hand, Hery said that the company is still conducting performance audits throughout 2023. However, BSI will continue to maintain its consistency in maintaining its performance.

"We have not finished the audit yet, we just want to maintain consistency," he said.

For information, until the third quarter of 2023, BSI recorded profit growth of IDR 4.2 trillion, an increase of 31.04 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at IDR 3.21 trillion.

Meanwhile, one of the drivers of net profit is commission-based income (FBI) which rose 12.44 percent.

In addition, financing also grew in the third quarter of 2023 by 15.94 percent (yoy) to Rp232 trillion from Rp200 trillion in the previous year. So that it pushed bank assets to grow 14.23 percent (yoy) to Rp 320 trillion.

Then, in terms of Third Party Fundraising (DPK) amounting to Rp262 trillion or growing around 6.91 percent (yoy) with savings product funds also experiencing a growth of 5.24 percent.
