Zeekr Releases The Latest MPV 009 Feature Rich, Prices Rise

JAKARTA - Zeekr, a subsidiary of premium electric vehicle Geely Holding Group, has launched an upgraded version of the world's first electric MPV 009.

This latest version comes with a variety of new features, including digital rearview mirrors, power adjustable steering wheels, front passenger seat comfort packages, and dual panel acoustic glasses for the third row.

The lowest price for the latest version of Zeekr 009 rose slightly to IDR 1.1 billion. This price is still lower than the ME version which sold for IDR 1.29 billion.

The Zeekr 009 core specification remains unchanged. The WE version is equipped with 116 kWh of battery, while the ME version is powered by a Qilin 140 kWh battery. Both of these batteries are capable of traveling 702 km and 822 km, respectively.

Zeekr has made a breakthrough in the electric car market with its fast product launch and impressive sales figures. In December 2023, Zeekr shipped 13,476 vehicles, bringing total shipments in 2023 to 118,685 units.

For Zeekr 009, the company delivered 2,310 units in December alone and 19,210 units throughout 2023.

By 2024, Zeekr targets to double its shipments to 230,000 units.
