JCI Strengthens at the Beginning of Today's Trading, CUAN and UNTR Shares Drop
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Tuesday, January 16, 2024 experienced a strengthening of 2.66 points or 0.04 percent to the position of 7,226.66 at 09.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.
Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,224.00, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,234.42 and the lowest was 7,210.02. The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.45 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 553.71 billion. There were 198 stocks rising, 150 stocks falling, and 254 flat.
As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Supreme Cable Manufacturing & Commerce (SCCO) rose 525 or 5.37 percent to IDR 10,300, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) rose 180 or 5.57 percent to IDR 3,410 and PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN) shares rose 310 or 7.00 percent to IDR 4,740.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi (CUAN) fell 1,254 or 24.77 percent to IDR 167, shares of PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk (SHID) fell 445 or 24.94 percent to IDR 1,340, and shares PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) fell 300 or 1.21 percent to IDR 24,425.
