It is known that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has set a conversion target of 50,000 units by 2023, but has not yet reached the target.

"The achievements are not what we expected, but we need to do socialization and also approach in addition to improving mechanisms in ESDM and inter-Ministerial and Institutional Relations (KL)," said ESDM Minister Arifin Tasrif at the 2023 ESDM Sector Achievement Press Conference and Work Program in 2024, at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, January 15.

When asked about the details of the numbers, Arifin admitted that it was still very small but he ensured that he would continue to socialize and cooperate with other ministries, mauoun, State-Owned Enterprises, so that the absorption of electric motors will increase in 2024.

It is known that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has again set 150,000 electric motors in 2024.

"Swimming. Shame, below 1000. There are a lot of listings," added Arifin.

Arifin said that his party would change the administrative bureaucracy and increase the availability of conversion workshops throughout Indonesia.

"We are building an extraordinary supporting infrastructure from nothing to something. That's what the process is going on," concluded Arifin.

Previously, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) had increased the amount of incentives for converting electric motorcycles to IDR 10 million per unit.
