Porsche Sets EV Tiger Birth On January 25

JAKARTA - The riddle regarding the emergence of the latest generation of Porsche Macans has been answered. The manufacturer set the launch of the model at the end of January.

On Porsche's official website, Monday, January 15, the sports car brand announced that the new SUV will debut on January 25 and at the same time end the ten-year wait for the model to get a second generation.

At the notice, the company based in Stuttgart, Germany, features a teaser in the form of a back light line that turns on and extends along the left to right.

Not only that, the model will appear as the newest electric vehicle (EV) from this German brand. The EV Tigers will carry advanced technology from the Premium Platform Electric (PPE).

Manufacturers have tested this model through simulations in cyberspace as well as wind tunnels that can play a role in more optimal development. Thus, manufacturers continue to prioritize efficient sides without eliminating the element of sporty.

Carrying the architecture of PPE with a magnitude of 800V, this can be compatible with lithium-ion batteries embedded at the bottom of the 100 kWh-capacity vehicle, with 95 kWh of which will be used actively.

Thus, the SUV is very suitable for charging with DC fast-charging reaching 270 kW. This car can charge 10-80 percent in 22 minutes in a 400V charging station. Meanwhile, the Tigers also fit the AC charger with 11 kW.

The SUV will be driven by electric motors embedded in the front and rear doubles, resulting in a peak power of 450 kW with a maximum torque of more than 1,000 Nm with the Porsche Track Management system.

To offer comfort, this model will also be added to the Porsche Active Suspension Management system with two valve damping technology, air suspension, rear-axle transverse lock, and other features.

Unfortunately, information about this model is still limited. It is hoped that the public will find and get more information about the EV Tigers on the day the launch arrives.
