Yamahamen LX 155 Latest Launch, What's The Fate Of The Old Model?

JAKARTA - Yamaha officially launched the latest 155 LX scheme with a more powerful engine with the previous model. Carrying the concept of Simple but MAXi', this one model further strengthens the MAXi family.

Of course, not a few have asked about the previous model, namely 125. So is Yamaha still producing it? Given that the capacity is also different from the latest model.

"As of today, we are moving production to MAY 155. Even if it is still at the dealer, the process is depleting stock," said Asst. General Manager Marketing & Public Relations of PT YIMM Antonius Widiantoro in Jakarta

However, he could not confirm in more detail when asked about this old model stock. In the future, he will focus on marketing the latest model.

"I have to check every dealer, we focus on marketing my LX 155 starting today's production and delivery starting next week to the dealer. If consumers buy it and the stock is being sent directly," he added.

Part of the additional information, Yamaha LEXi LX 155 has a new design that is typical of MAXi Yamaha with MAXi dimensions that look more sporting, elegant and modern, especially equipped with modern features.

Speaking of performance, LEXi LX 155 is equipped with the latest generation of Blue Core 155 cc engines. The touch of renewal can be seen on the design of camshaft, piston and head and oil lines, resulting in better performance due to lack of friction and vibration.

The latest engine on LEXi LX 155 produces a maximum power of 11.3 kW at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.2 Nm at 6500 rpm. In addition, the LEXi LX 155 engine has also VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology, SOHC, 4 valve and liquid cooled.
