Evacuation Of Anjlok Train In Sidoarjo Rampung, South Line Train Track Back To Normal

SIDOARJO - PT KAI Operational Area (Daop) 8 Surabaya ensured that the process of evacuating the Pandalungan locomotive and train facilities (KA) which had fallen had been completed at 00.22 WIB and had been able to be crossed by the train.

KAI Daop 8 Surabaya Public Relations Manager Luqman Arif said the first train to cross the route was the Blambangan Express train for the Ketapang-Semarang Tawang relationship at a limited speed of 20 km/hour at 03.11 WIB, and the route was still under the supervision and repair of officers.

"KAI Daop 8 Surabaya would like to thank all stakeholders involved in the process of evacuating the Pandalungan train and normalizing the railway line at the Tanggulangin Station assembly," Luqman said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 15.

Luqman explained that in the incident all of Pandalungan's customers and KA officers survived and no one was injured. In addition, his party has provided alternative transportation solutions to take customers to their respective destinations.

"The affected customers are carried out by the transportation transition process using buses provided at Bangil and Sidoarjo stations," he said.

Not only that, he said, prospective customers who cancel their trips along with connection tickets can cancel tickets with 100 percent refund of duties outside of message duties up to D+7 departures.

Meanwhile, regarding the drop in the Pandalungan train, he said, KAI and related parties will investigate and evaluate the cause. This, he continued, is a form of KAI's commitment to providing safe and comfortable transportation services.

"With the completion of the normalization of the railway line, all trains that pass both long distances and local ones crossing Tanggulangin Station are normal with limited speed," he said.

Previously, KAI Daop 8 Surabaya imposed a change in operating patterns for long-distance trains to Surabaya and Bangil, due to the drop of the Pandalungan train at the Tanggulangin Station, Sidoarjo, on Sunday (14/1) morning.

The trains that rotated from Bangil Station through Malang and Kertonosono, including the Ranggajati (115) train related Jember - Surabaya Gubeng - Cirebon, KA Logawa (211) Jember - Surabaya Gubeng - Purwokerto and Ritjung (241) trains related to Ketapang - Surabaya Gubeng - Lempuyangan.

Furthermore, KA Jayabaya (107) related Malang - Surabaya Gubeng - Pasarturi - Pasarsenen, KA Wijaya Kusuma (117) Ketapang - Surabaya Gubeng - Cilacap and KA Pandalungan (77f) relations Jember - Surabaya Gubeng - Pasarturi - Gambir.
