Bone Bolango Police Thwarts The Smuggling Of 1,800 Liters Of Cap Tikus Alcohol

Bone Bolango Police, Gorontalo thwarted the smuggling of 1,800 liters of liquor (alcohol).

"In early 2024, the Bone Police had thwarted the smuggling of 1,800 liters of rat-cap liquor," said Bone Bolango Police Chief (Kapolres) AKBP Muhammad Alli in Gorontalo as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 13.

He explained that the illegal goods originating from the North Sulawesi Province are planned to be circulated in the Bone Bolango border area with Bolaang Mongondow Selatan.

"We have confiscated the evidence, and currently our personnel are carrying out developments related to the ownership of the liquor," said the Police Chief.

He said his staff routinely carry out operations and patrols in order to eradicate community diseases, including selling and consuming alcohol.

"We are committed to eradicating liquor in this area because it is the trigger for criminal acts," said the Police Chief.

Based on existing records, he said, most of the criminal cases to disturbances in security and public order (kamtibmas) that occurred in the Bone Bolango Regency area, were triggered because the perpetrators were already under the influence of alcohol.

Therefore, his party, starting from the Polres to the Polsek level, routinely carry out regional patrols by conducting raids to places that are considered prone to the circulation of liquor.
