SKK Migas Banks Issues Of Inpex Back To Stock Divestment In Masela Block
JAKARTA - The Special Task Force for the Implementation of Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) denied the issue that stated that the Masela operator, Inpex Masela Ltd. will again divest its shares in the Masela Block.
SKK Migas Secretariat Shinta Damayanti said that until now her party had not heard of Inpex's plan to add new partners to the gas field.
"So far we have not heard of any divestment plans," Shinta said at a press conference at the SKK Migas Building, Friday, January 12.
He said that so far the SKK Migas meeting with Inpex has one mission, namely accelerating this eternal gas field project.
"Since kick off Masela and meeting Inpex, all of her tones are how to speed up this project," said Shinta.
Just so you know, the Abadi Masela field project operated by the Inpex, Pertamina and Petronas consortium has an estimated production of 9.5 MTPA with a value of 19.8 billion US dollars.
