The National Police Are Tracing Anies Baswedan's Threatening Account
The National Police are following up on the threat of shooting aimed at presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan by deepening social media accounts that threaten.
"The National Police has carried out an in-depth process of deepening the account," said Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 12.
However, said Truno, until now the National Police have not received a report on the alleged threat from any party. "So far there has been no report," said Truno.
Apart from that, Truno appealed to the community to jointly maintain unity and integrity to make the 2024 General Election run safely and peacefully.
"The National Police appeals to the entire community that let's create a safe, peaceful election to maintain national unity and integrity," he said.
Anies Baswedan received a shooting threat by netizens while live on the TikTok application. Instagram social media account @rifanariansyah, which is indicated as a threat, can now not be found, allegedly deleted by its users.
